SILK & PRINTS FROM THE ABRAHAM ARCHIVE: MOMU in Antwerp

During the 1930 Abraham worked with many influential artists: Braque/Chagall/Balmain/Shiaparelli etc.
During the 1950/60 , the famous couturiers Dior/Givenchy/St Laurent and Balenciaga all worked together with the swiss firm Abraham, for exclusive fabrics. The exhibition shows an impressive collection of sample books, couture photographs and textiles.

BOWIE

David Bowie is faster than sound - a major exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London 23 March -11 August 2013.

Last week I visited the exhibition and it was spectacular. The story - the presentation - the sound - the advanced audio guide system and 3D sound experience made it a sonic and visual spectacle. A must go !!

We made this stopmotion movie by ourselves. With cut-outs - knits - drawings - special paper etc. While we were moving the objects around, the photographer Lo Andela was clicking away (100 photo's a page).

My design for the CAKEWALK stand at the Kleine Fabriek Fashion Fair 08 - 09 july in Amsterdam/ The Netherlands.

The wall has one of my prints (used in the clothing only enlarged). The inspiration wall with real flowers + the big white flowers I made by hand.

Starting working on the inspiration wall with cut outs and real flowers in small plastic tubes stuck to the wall.
