GARDENTIME at CHRISTMAS
In my mother's garden in England

My inhouse garden in Amsterdam - The 2011 Xmas tree

My garden in june getting higher and fuller - the mangetout are ready for cooking - the small cucumber is very crunchy....

The English Garden
I visited my mother, who lives in the south of England. She has an enormous garden full of roses and allsorts of other flowers - vegetable patch - fruit trees. It is a pleasure wondering around on the grass looking at all the colours. Here are just a few pictures.

When I am there I love to do some weeding. It is very therapeutical!

GARDEN - my garden a few weeks later. I just love the different colours of green.

Just back from a week in NY and I visited the garden balcony I love on East Houston (near the Bowery). It was still there, wonder who lives there??

My garden and it surroundings.
This tree is just outside my house.....it is so beautiful!

My balcony is starting to look like a little garden

GARDEN
.......plants plants plants..... Every monday morning from 8 until 13.00 a flower/herb market on the Amstelveld in Amsterdam. On my bike with my sister and see the treasures that we bought (the plastic bags are full of herbs).

GARDEN (balcony) TIME
Can't wait to start working on my balcony - edamame - broadbeans - mangetout - spinach - rucola - herbs and loads of flowers.......oooh the lovely smell and the bright green colours (especially in the morning). I love this , my small quiet haven in the middle of the centre of Amsterdam.
